It’s the holiday season once again, and we’re still here inside! We may not be able to do physical gatherings this year, so this just means we need to get creative with all the online activities.
Since many of the typical Pinoy party games require physical presence for maximum XP, we are here with a virtual alternative: the PowerPoint Party. With a PowerPoint Party, you’ll just need to set up a video call with a share screen function like Discord or Zoom, friends who are game to create their own presentations, and of course, enough booze to get you through it all.
Picking a topic is the hardest part, so why not make things interesting by following a theme? We list some (very specific) suggestions below. Make a night out of it and create awards for the best and the funniest presentations.
Challenge each person in your friend group to do a round-up of the characters they were attracted to growing up. Was it Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender? Meg from Hercules? If this is too easy, you could even expand it to your favorite ships with ‘Ship dynamics I live for and how they influence my relationships’.

This goes out to all the folks who had Peppa Pig on their Top 5, and everyone who was too ashamed to post their 2020 Wrapped because of reasons they’d rather not reveal on the timeline or IG story.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever been victimized by 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, and 12.12 budol. This presentation will have you and your friends looking back at all the I don’t need this but it’s so cute/useful purchases you made over the lockdown. Tallying how much you spent not required, but you can do this for added pain.
Looking back at all the times you said something out loud that usually sounds perfectly normal in a tweet but doesn’t necessarily translate IRL (is it luh-mao or el-mao? Is it acceptable to even say uwu out loud??)
What got you through the over nine months of the lockdown? Was it an emotional support K-Pop boy? A new pet? Roller skates? This is your chance to wholeheartedly explain how much they mean to you!
